Someone I invited has joined, but doesn't appear in my referral data?

The following are various things that might happen:

The person already had a SociaBuzz account before

  • Referral earnings can only be obtained from new users who join SociaBuzz via your referral link.
  • If the person already has a SociaBuzz account before clicking on your referral link, then it will not be counted as your referral.

It's been more than 30 days since clicking your referral link

  • When someone clicks on your referral link, our system will place a "referral cookie" for 30 days in the browser they use.
  • If the person creates a SociaBuzz account more than 30 days after clicking your referral link, then it will not be counted as your referral.

The person created a SociaBuzz account after clicking on someone else's referral link

  • If after the person clicks on your referral link then clicks on someone else's referral link before creating a SociaBuzz account, then it will be registered as that other person's referral.
  • This is known as “last click attribution”.

The person has deleted all "cookies" in the browser

  • When someone clicks on your referral link, our system will place a "referral cookie" for 30 days in the browser they use.
  • If the "cookie" is deleted, our system cannot know that they came from your referral link.

The person created a SociaBuzz account using a different browser

  • When someone clicks on your referral link, our system will place a "referral cookie" for 30 days in the browser they use.
  • If the person creates a SociaBuzz account using a different browser, our system cannot know that they came from your referral link.
